If you like humorous mysteries and can stand yet another heroine with a cop boyfriend (boyfriend-to-be in this case), this is a very good book. Even though that boyfriend thing is getting old, I would read another by this author.

Midge was the last person to see Dr. Skripnik alive and now, as she tries to figure it all out, she has to cope with a bevy of very human, funny, and trying friends and relatives. Humorous mystery which I found fun to read.

Sort of a jewish Stephanie Plum. The first, and apparently last, book that Toni Brill wrote.
Mystery novel by Toni Brill.
"Midge Cohen's mother has fixed her up . . . again. What would it hurt to meet this nice Jewish doctor, a urologist even.
Blind dates can be trouble--especially when the morning after brings murder!"
