Author: Nevil Shute
No Highway is a novel of terrifying urgency by the best-selling author of On the Beach. An aviation engineer himself, Nevil Shute writes about the development of a superb new British airliner, and the agonizing decision of one man - an obscure research scientist - who predicts that a vital part of the plane will fail in flight.

One of my favorite authors, Mr. Shute was also an aeronautical engineer. This novel is about engineers working with a new airplane used for overseas flights that may or may not have a fatal flaw.
