I originally got this for Deirdre Martin and Christie Ridgway since I enjoyed their other books. Ironically their stories were so bad I couldn't finish them but thoroughly enjoyed Laura Florand's "All's Fair in Love and Chocolate." Florand was a little wordy and flowery with her metaphors but there are some laugh-out-loud descriptions. It was really endearing.
With the other two stories, I just couldn't get into the characters or the situations were just too lame. Florand's was little far fetched too but somehow it worked for her. Might look into more of her books from now on.
Overall though I gave this such a low rating since only one story was worth it.

Three mini novellas in one book.
EARLY BIRD SPECIAL by Deirdre Martin
WEDDINGS INK by Christie Ridgway
ALL'S FAIR IN LOVE AND CHOCOLATE by Laura Florand
I swapped the book because I am a fan of Deirdre Martin and I wanted to read this story. I only read hers and I was very disappointed. It was only 124 pages long. It was too rushed, you could not get into the characters and could care less about them.
