I gave it four and a half stars as I really enjoyed it. Kate Wilhelm is one of my fav authors as she lives in Oregon and it is fun to read about places that I know of. Pretty good story too. It was good to see that Barbara now has more of a personal life besides her father, Frank and his two cats, thing one and thing two.
I'll just give it a one star as I didn't finish it.
It was just too long and drawn out and didn't get into enough of the story by page 100 that I was just tired of trying to keep reading until something happened.
Got tiresome of the moments with her and her father.
Maybe a different book would be better but this one just didn't cut it for me.
