Just because a book is Young Adult, does not mean it has to be written like a 13 yo is the author. This book has great bones. It could have been great. But the writing is terrible, disjointed and really, really immature. The characters could be anyone, and there is no depth to them. The female characters "are really hot, gorgeous and adorable." Aside from the fact they are running around a zombie apocolypse in short shorts and sandals, they make such a turn around into hard fighting zombie killers, they make Carl from the Walking Dead look like Charlie Brown. Definitely will not be reading any more from this author.
