It's a shame this book has such a cheesy cover and large print - it was truly excellent. A sort of _Jaws_ on the land - substituting the tiger for the great white. And its relationship with Roy was just fascinating! It read like a movie, though I suppose it would be too difficult to actually translate this into the silver screen without ruining it, which really is a shame...
Still, it was an excellent book and I would most certainly read another book by him! It was sad and had a rather gruesome premise, but somehow was a surprisingly beautiful story.
