Unless you've never even heard of the Amish, please skip this book. The author spends pages stating many obvious Amish beliefs and tradition.
Then there's the language- the main character uses words like Alas, and then another character utters: SWEET!
The editing cracked me up- when they were playing a chest game (chess). Slow and dry and predictable.
