The entire time I was reading this, I had chills down my spine. I lived (and still live) in the city where this took place in 1986. I'm close to the age of the victim. I worked in the mall where/when she was abducted. I frequented the sandwich shop where the suspects hung out and the suspects half sister worked (I probably interacted with her). I banked at the same bank as the victim, I'm familiar with were she lived and where she was killed. I also know 4 of the detectives that were involved in her case having worked with them 10 years ago. It was really creepy reading about my slice of the world in a book.
