I read this because of Richard Chizmar, and hoped that Stephen King hadn't laden it with his political jabs. Luckily, he has not. Maybe Mr. Chizmar told him it was annoying and unnecessary Anyway, this is a quick book, you'll read it in an afternoon, if left alone. It has all of the hallmarks of the vintage King books, creepy and then creepier.
