I can't believe i'm actually going to say this, but i was disappointed in this book. I have been a huge fan of Richelle Mead and have looked forward to her books. I found myself hoping the relationship between Sage and Adrian would not happen. Plus the wasted promise of Marcus let me down on so many levels. I had such high expectations for the character and he became pretty much wasted space. Everything surrounding his group of former alchemists just seemed like a waste. I see the release date for the next book is out and it will be on my to be read list, just not with the priority her books used to have.
