I'm more than halfway through this volume of short stories and, while I've liked some stories more than others, I'm very happy to have gotten this book. The authors are very talented; their literary voices vary but all the tales fit well under the title's scope; I like that the eras differ, too, and the mix of good to bad witches is fun. There's humor and horror, fantasy and "reality" (that is, real world settings as well as fantastical ones) -- all in all, I'd say there's something for everyone to enjoy.
