Having read the nine other books in the series I thought this one was intriguing and fun. Now if this is your first Patterson book, put it down and read something else by him. Without the rest of the series, this book will seem really shallow because all the character development was done long ago in previous books.

It is a lightweight book but I liked that it kept you guessing. Also there are three mysteries to solve so it kept you on your toes but can be confusing for some.

I also liked that Yuki finally had something nice happen to her because in the previous books she was the character people kicked while she was down. She is, by far, my least favortie character, but still I felt bad for her.

My only complaint was that Cindy got really dumb in this novel. What happened?

Quick, easy read. Don't expect to be challenged mentally and just sit back and enjoy.

What Gerald G. said in his review! I agree 100% and couldn't have said it better. This is a lame effort and the writers and editors should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this drivel to be published. Our money can be better spent on authors whose writing has substance. Luckily with PBS we are only paying postage to receive and pass this on to another fool who thinks they should read it.

Typical Patterson "Murder Club" novel except this one seemed to be a bit disjointed. Too many scenarios and easy to figure out endings. I've read better "Murder Club" books.

This is the worse book of the Women's Murder Club series so far. The plots were thin and boring. The romances were too fluffy. Joe barely existed in this book. The writing seemed so juvenile. I couldn't get past the inconsistencies, ie: the point was made that the doctor looked good in prison orange then later it was said that prison orange didn't suit her. I can't believe that James Patterson wrote this book or for that matter even looked at it.

I was starting to get bored with this series and was debating whether or not to continue reading it. Im so happy I gave the series another shot, because 10th Anniversary brings back the intensity that I felt was starting to lack in previous books. I really enjoyed how this installment brings major changes to several of the characters, starting with Lindsays wedding to Joe. One of the reasons I have enjoyed this series so much is that each member of the Womens Murder Club is vital and have to play a central role in the storyline. In addition to Lindsays marriage, Yuki is in a new relationship and Cindys relationship moves to the next level. Claire didnt have any changes, but she was present throughout the book interacting with the rest of the group.

I also enjoyed the multiple plots. I thought the missing baby case was intriguing and the case Yuki is prosecuting was full of intrigue. Both cases threw a few surprise curve balls at me but I really enjoy that. Cindy is working on a serial rapist story that brings her a little too close for comfort but I enjoyed the way it played out. The story ends with a bang that left me excited and looking forward to the next one.

My Final Verdict: If you enjoy long running series, this series delivers on so many levels with characters you really care about and plots that keep you interested in what happens. Some of the books werent as enjoyable as others in the series, but overall this is a very good series that any fan of the thriller or mystery genre will lose themselves completely in the books.

I give this book 4stars because I really enjoy his stories and I keep going back to the book so I can finish. As always there is more that one story weaving thru Lindsey Boxers cases. One is a 15year old is found naked, just had a baby but the baby is no where to be found. While the other involves Yuki trying a Doctor murdering her husband but Lindsey is investigating that maybe some else murdered the husband. Again, another page turner for me.
