This is a great story about getting even with the international diamond cartel in London. Browne sets up an impossible problem, then his characters solve it. Delightful.
The best of the Browne series regarding gems and a beautiful and rich female side kick is a great read. Start here before heading off to Green Ice or 18MM Blues and enjoy the chase. There is movie with Charles Grodin that captures the character very well.

This was a great story. This is the second book I've read by this author, and the first one prompted me to read this one. I wasn't disappointed and was sad to see it end.
