A good alternate history, with out all the fantasy. You could see this as a true "what if" in history. Loved it so much I grabbed 1901 and loved it as well. The author brings in much history and background with out making it overwhelming.
Very well written. I love history... and it was very interesting to see what happen when a pivot point in history goes in a different direction.
I am looking forward to reading his 1901 and 1945 titles.

The premise is good, but the history and suppositions it makes are laughable. The idea that that Great Britain joining the war on the side of the Confederates actually making the war shorter is silly, and the inclusion of so much sexual content is uncalled for.
A well thought out "might have been" history of the war between the states, if England had come into the war on the side of the Confederacy.
My copy is an ex-library book
