Good, solid Browne. Great premise, well thought out, paced just right. This guy knows pearls.
Excellent story, and at the same time, a terrific learning experience. I know far more of the pearl-diver business (and gems, and pearls) than ever I did before. Also a well thought out thriller.
A terrific, old-fashioned tale, exotic locales, shady characters, beautiful women, and the timeles quest for treasure.
