First book finished in 2019 - Harmony's Way [Breeds] by Lora Leigh - continuing my way through the Breeds - I'm really intruiged by the background story of the universe that is going on, and sometimes I feel like the romance/mating just gets in the way of finding out what is really going on!

I am reading Jennifer Esteps's series Kill the Queen. More high fantasy than urbn fantasy. Very good. She develops great characters.

Look, more Lora Leigh!

  1. Mercury's War [Breeds] by Lora Leigh
  2. Coyote's Mate [Breeds] by Lora Leigh

The books are just different enough from one another that I am still enjoying them.  I do find myself skimming a lot of the sex sceenes because they are so similar, but, the actual story around them keeps me interested!

LOL Amy!  I got a FIFO request for one of those books.  Had the other one too and it was on her WL, so I'm mailing both out today!

Cindy - that's really funny!

Not been much time for free reading the last couple of weeks, but, last I night I finished

  1. The Magical Christmas Cat

This anthology has stories by Erin cCarthy, Nalini Singh, Linda Winstead Jones, and Lora Leigh, all of which I enjoyed!

I am normally not a cozy girl, but I might have to try that Fun in Funeral book!  That and the other Helen Harper series, I really enjoyed those Slouch Witch books - which are pretty much cozies!

THis week's reads were:

  1. Bengal's Heart [Breeds] by Lora Leigh
  2. Hot for the Holidays

Continuing the Breeds series.  I'm pleased that Lora Leigh manages to have enough interesting things going on and enough diferences that I've remained interested. I was afraid of the carbon copy nature of the books initially.

Just finished The Trouble with the Twelve Grave by Dyranda Jones ---- is it just me or is this series getting a little out there?? I am not going to spoil anything but the characters needed a set of children's books to figure some stuff out... not sure I am going to read number 13 in the series.

Moving on to Black Market by Faith Hunter.

Continuing on in the Breeds:

  1. Lion's Heat [Breeds] by Lora Leigh - I liked this one, I was waiting for Jonas' mate to appear.  I keep forgetting he is a lion, I keep thinking him a wolf....

Yes 13 is the last of the Grave series. I think there may be a spinoff series though.
