It's that time of year again!  

Here is the 2023 PBS Historical Fiction Challenge.  It begins January 1, 2023 and ends December 31, 2023.  Happy reading!

There are 3 levels to choose from:

BRONZE: Read 8 prompts

SILVER: Read 16 prompts

GOLD: Read all 25 prompts

PROMPTS:

1. Cover features a plane, train or ship

2. A book without a person on the cover

3. Title contains one of the four seasons - winter, spring, summer, fall (or autumn)

4. Title contains an animal

5. Color of title is either red or blue

6. A book you received via PBS

7. Published in 2023

8. Cover features an instrument

9. An author over 65 years old

10. Read 3 books with the same cover colors

11. Read a book turned into a movie or tv show

12. Read a book less than 300 pages or more than 700 pages

13. A book set in two countries

14. Next book in a series

15. Pick a country.  Read 3 books set in that country  OR  Pick a century.  Read 3 books set in that time period

16. A deceased author

17. A cover with a flag on it

18. Main character's name starts with P, B, or S

19. Published at least 10 years ago

20. Title has more 15 or more letters in it

21. Set in a country or city with the first letter of your name

22. A new to you author

23. Book features a birth or a death

24. A book set in one of the original 13 colonies (time period does not matter)

25. A book you meant to read in 2022
