This was a great read to get a laugh or two in right before bed. Having been a classroom teacher it was easy to laugh at the observation by Mr. Done. Classroom dynamics at the elementary level are everything he describes and more. He finds the humor in the child who is hard to love and in the teacher lounge antics before the school year starts-hoping to trade students who come with a reputation. These same students are the ones you know you will miss at the end of the year. Mr. Done manages to share the fun often found in the classroom just when you think you found the end of the rope. Fun, light-hearted, and heart felt.

Hilarious and spot-on vignettes of teaching. Every teacher will see themselves somewhere in this memoir.

As a retired teacher, I could relate to many incidents in this book. It is an hilarious read for all teachers or otherwise!
