I picked this book up in a little second-hand shop for a bit of nothing, and promptly fell in love. It stayed on my desk in a place of honor. One can open the book to any page and find a a quick moment of calm in a fast-paced world.

I've been reading this gem daily for several years, following the recommended date-dependent schedule that ties the meditations to the seasons. Each year I find something new to savor and contemplate. Each year I have new personal insights.
