The characters I have grown to enjoy through the first three Cedar Cove books are all back and moving forward/backward in their lives. Opening the pages of this book was like going home to visit with these dear friends I've become very fond of. Debbie Macomber has not only given us another visit to this charming town and added new dimensions to the characters, but also provides us with a suspenseful resolution to the murder that occurred back in book one.
The focal point of this story is the home of Peggy and Bob Beldon who manage the Thyme and Tide B and B at 44 Cranberry Point. Nerves have been on edge with Peggy and Bob since a fellow Vietnam soldier, Max Russell, was found murdered at the inn. Bob, a recovering alcoholic, has the biggest challenge of his sober years when the need for a drink overtakes him. Will he manage to control himself or will he throw away all his hard work and good intentions?
In addition to the main characters, minor characters such as Rachel the nail tech, widower Bruce Peyton, Stanley Lockhart and others make appearances and propel the storyline, thanks in large part to a hilarious Dog and Bachelor auction which makes matches and mismatches aplenty.
Debbie Macomber has given us the perfect soap opera in book form and I eagerly look forward to each new installment. I would advise readers to begin at the beginning to eliminate any confusion in this multi-populated series.

Debbie Macomber is such a delightful author. Her stories are light and entertaining, but also touch that special place in the reader's heart. I can always relate to her stories--her characters are so real, her settings are vivid, the plot believable.
Helpful Score: 2
This book was OK. It was the first of her books I have read and I felt it just had too many characters. Not enough excitement going on in the story for me.

I picked this up after not reading her books for a while and remembered quickly how much I enjoyed Debbie Macomber's books. Her character development is good and you really feel like you can see the streets that are in Cedar Cove.

Fourth in the Cedar Cove series and each book just keeps getting better. The characters are so real and the story so intriquing that you just want to keep reading to find out what happens. Great series

I am just loving this series!! I've really grown to love the characters and like how the author introduces new ones while still keeping with the old. Great 3rd book...can't wait to read more!

So far this has been my fav in the series. We still keep in contact with everyone from the first 3 books and again we are still learning more about various residents of Cedar Cove. I look foward to the next in the series.
Yet another great book in her Cedar Cove series. I feel as though I know all the characters now in a personal way.
This book was awesome. It is a romance book with none of the smut. It talks about real life situations that could and do really happen. I thoroughly enjoyed it and am have decided to read the whole series. You really get sucked into the mayberry atmosphere of cedar cove where everyone is connected and knows everyone else.
I love this series. I'm not a big romance fan, but this series hooked me and good.
I wouldn't miss these stories, and readers new to Cedar Cove won't have any trouble picking up the threads of these engaging characters' lives.

wonderful series
cedar cove is the setting for this book. it is about the different people that live in this little town and the happenings in their lives.this focus is on three men who have been in vietnam together. two are from this town. one is dead, apparently a sucide, another one comes to stay at the other ones b&b one stormy night (was not recognized) and is discovered dead the next morning. also there is the lady judge that passes out very odd sentences. very good read.
Again the residents of Cedar Cove pull you in and make you want more.
Ok Not one of her best
Peggy Beldon runs a Bed and Breakfast in Cedar Cove. A man died in the B and B, while Peggy's husband finds out he was in Vietnam with him. Also find out how MaryEllen and her new boyfriend are faring.
Enjoyable.
Debbie Macomber is a multiple award wining Author. This book is a winner too!!
This is the 4th in a series of great books by Debbie Macomber about Cedar Cove, WA. It follows 311 Pelican Court, and as usual has warm, friendly characters I feel I have really known and loved!
This is fourth in the Cedar Cove Series. Each book focuses on a different family. This one is mainly about Peggy Belden and her husband. You won't be able to put it down.
Part of the Cedar Cove series.
I've enjoyed this entire series. I like that Debbie Macomber follows several characters at a time and how they overlap, but still have separate stories.
This is the 4th book in this series and each book takes you farther into the lives of the fictional people of cedar grove. I can't wait to go on to the next book to read what has happened next between falling in love, break ups, murder and personal tragidies.
Great read!
MORE GREAT STORIES ABOUT THE PEOPLE OF CEDER COVE ENJOYED EVERY PAGE OF THIS.
I'm enjoying all of the Debbie Macomber, Cedar Cove series. This summer I began the series with the first book and then have been reading them in the sequence they were written. I would recommend doing it this way. You can check her website to find the order for the series of 12 books. The books are a relaxing read and the characters engaging and easy to keep straight. The first book is 16 Lighthouse Road and this one is 4th in the series.
The saga continues. I enjoyed this book in the Cove series, as the others it follows along with the members of the special town and its bond. The people in the town and how their lives intertwine. Wonderful read and I'm getting ready for the next one

This is a great series I recommend to all Romance lovers!!
Really enjoyed the book and the series.
Very good, easy read.
Great continuation of the Cedar Cove series. Just the right amount of romance and suspense - a great read!
Excellent series, one that has kept me reading book after book. This one has a major cliffhanger which was irritating as I had hoped to read another book first before going on to the 5th. I never dreamed I'd love a book classified as "romance" but these are complex and interesting stories about a small town of friends.
very nice book, interesting people in small town
I love all the Cedar Cove Books - and this one was no exception.
Another good Debbie Macomber romance, with the setup for the next book.
Book #4 in the Cedar Cove Series by Debbie Macomber. Romance for all ages. Great mystery included inthis story. Must Read the entire series!
Excellent read.
Book 4 in the Cedar Cove Series. You will enjoy.
Excellent reading, I can hardly wait for the next one in the series.
This is the 4th book of the Cedar Cove series and one that keeps you wanting more!
Very enjoyable series
This series was a great series. Book 4 of the Cedar Cove focuses on the Peggy and Bob Beldon. This book solves the mystery death of one of a visitor to their Bed and Breakfast. I recommend the entire series.
This is a romantic book with a hint of mystery. It is part of a series, which I didnt realize when I picked it up--so I spent most of the time thinking I had "missed out on something", as I read this book. I think I would have enjoyed the book more had I read the first one, first.
This book is about the Beldons who live in Cedar Grove and their family it is the next book in the series after Cranberry Point.
This is book four of the Cedar Cove series, being continuing stories of the people who live in Cedar Cove, plus new people who move in or drop in for a visit. Love all of the characters, their pets and their family lives as their kids marry and start new lives for themselves. And of course, there is usually a mystery going on during her stories, which adds even more enjoyment to the read. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading.
I liked this book
Anything Debbie McComber is good! Love this author
This seriest is GREAT!
More excitement in Cedar Cove.
Nice read.
The 4th in a series about the town of Cedar Cove. Great read!
This series is really interesting. I don't think you have to read the whole series to understand it, but it's nice to have read them all. Macomber's character development is superb.
EXCELLENT fourth book in a series of five, I couldn't put it down!
another great book, about the folks in Cedar Cove
Very good story!
4th in the Cedar Cove series. Story is about Peggy & the murder that occured in her Bed & Breakfast.
One of my favorites of the series so far. I enjoy all of the different plot lines.
Fourth in the series. Another great book.
This is another wonderful story set in Cedar Cove. Narrated by Peggy, who owns the Bed and Breakfast in town.
Great book in a great series! Love Debbie Macomber books....this series is fabulous!
I just love the whole story line of this series. Macomber keeps you interested in each character and leaves you wanting more. I enjoyed this book.
Awesome, 4th in a series by Debbie Macomber
A Cedar Cove book with the usual characters and a few new ones . The Dog and Batchelor Auction adds a bit of new intrest that carries over to the next book in the series. pleasant easy reading.
This latest installment of the Cedar Cove series focuses on Bob and Peggy Beldon after a former comrade of Bob's from Vietnam dies in their bed-and-breakfast. His murder is much on their minds as Bob once again relives war horrors and suspects that he is next on the murderer's list. Grace Sherman is learning to live with a broken heart and has no one but herself to blame. The man she loves, Cliff Harding, has left her after he finds out she has been "cheating" on him online. Grace chastises herself and prepares to spend the rest of her life alone until Cliff's daughter convinces her to fight for him. Meanwhile, Cecelia is ready to try to have another baby after the tragic death of their daughter, but husband Ian is not ready. Fans of Macomber's series shouldn't miss these stories, and readers new to Cedar Cove won't have any trouble picking up the threads of these engaging characters' lives.
Another great book by Debbie Macomber. 4th in the Cedar Cove series.
Book 3 of the Cedar Cove series finds us spending more time with Bob and Peggy who own the local bed and breakfast. There is mystery involved with one of their guests that died at their establishment one stormy night. More about the other families we were introduced to in books one and two.
Book 4 in the Cedar Cove series. Find out the mystery of the death at the Tyme and Tide!
Forth in Series
I enjoy the books by Debbie Macomber that are about Ceder Cove, and this was another one.

Small town romantic mystery book, great characters.
4th book
Part of the Cedar Cove series.
In this fourth entry, Peggy and Bob Beldon, owners of the Thyme & Tide B&B, are still recovering from the shock of discovering Bob's war buddy, Max Russell, murdered in one of their rooms. Bob suspects that Max's death has something to do with a horrible experience in Vietnam and now finds himself looking over his shoulder, fearing for his own safety. More unsettling is Max's fragile daughter, who shows up on a stormy night seeking shelter and answers. Almost everyone from Macomber's previous books (311 Pelican Court, etc.) makes an appearance in this one, each with his or her own bit of drama.

Another wonderful book full of interesting people that is part of a series. The characters seem like real people you might know in your own life.
this is one of a series...very good

This is the 4th book by Debbie Macomber in the Cedar Cove Series. The mystery of the dead man found in a local bed-and-breakfast continues as the town's other citizens find themselves with their own crises to deal with. Macomber is outstanding once again.
Great Story, it's a good thing the weather was rotten as I was not able o put the book down!
This is an excellent, relaxing read. I have several more books by this author, including some from this series, currently listed.
Debbie Macomber leads us on another trip down the streets of Cedar Cove. A book you just cannot put down.
Enjoyable
4th in the series. The murder case was solved, Charlotte and Ben got married, Grace and Cliff are trying to get back together. Now who is stalking Roy?
Fourth book in the Cedar Cove series.
when strangers decide to escape thier lives and exchange homes over the holidays, chaos and hilarious confusion ensue!
I enjoyed this once I got into it. Lots a characters from other books that took a little tile to get organized in my brain. I want to read other books in this series now.

Fourth in Cedar Cove series. Enjoyed it.
Excellent characterization will keep readers anticipating the next book.
This is the fourth of the Cedar Cove series - this book revolves around the owners of the Thyme and Tide B&B. Good series.
Macomber's characters offer courage and support to one another and find hope and love in unexpected places.
This was a good read.A little of a mystery in this one.
This is a great series. Can't wait to finish them all.
Great book. It just draws you in to the story.
This series by Debbie Macomber is EXCELLENT! I highly recommend her books.
As you read each of these books it becomes that much more inevitable that you'll read the next one.
The Cedar Cove area, you will love this one. Lot's of things to keep track of. What's going on at the bed & breakfast inn, what will Cliff do, will Cecila get pregnant, and tehn stroll down to water front for a nice cup of tea.
Now I'm at #4. Still the same core people but with added people. People come and go but the main characters are still living life in Cedar Cove. Enjoy this book!
Just finished 44 Cranberry Point and leave it Debbie to score another one of her fast reads
I had a little trouble following the story, but it may have been that I wasn't able to just sit and read it but had a lot of interruptions.

I really like this series. The many occupants of Cedar Cove all have parts in this book. It is interesting to participate in their lives.
Another fantastic story from Cedar Cove.
I love this series.
#4 of the Cedar Cove series by this author. This one is by Peggy Belden, owner of the Thyme and Tide B & B. She says:
" I love Cedar Cover, but things haven't been the same since a man died in our B & B. Turns out his name was Max Russell, and Bob had known him briefly in Vietnam. We still don't have any idea why he came here and-most important of all-who killed him. Because it now appears that he was poisoned. I sure hope somebody figures it out soon!
Not that we're providing the only news in Cedar Cove these days. I heard that Jon Bowman and Maryellen Sherman are getting married. And Maryellen's mom, Grace, has more than her share of interested men! The question is: Which one is she going to choose? Olivia-I guess it's Olivia Griffin now-is back from her honeymoon, and her mother, Charlotte (who's i n her mid-seventies at least), seems to have a man in her life too. I'm not sure Olivia's too pleased...
There's lots of other gossip I could tell you. Come by for a cup of tea and one of my blueberry muffins and we'll talk.

A good read.
I enjoyed reading the book - it kept my interest. One thing I did NOT like about it was that it left you with a 'cliffhanger' - a storyline that was completely unresolved. This forces you to buy the next book in her "series". Hate when authors do this!
ANother in a great Debbie Macomber series! Wonderful
This is an incredibly dull bunch of mini-soap-operas combined to make one book of about 380 pages. I knew the Debbie Macomber offered light reading, but this book was plodding and boring.
Great Book can't wait to read the next one.
this book was ok but it is part of a series and leaves you hanging. i did however like the idea of having an action to auction off a man paired with a dog and etting the person bid on which ever they would like. i think i might try that. for the dog of course
I enjoyed all the books in this series
Another great book just like the others.
I really like all the Cedar Cove series.
Never met a Macomber I didn't love
I have not read this book. I purchased over 30 books at a used book store and accidently bought two copies so I am posting this one to trade.
