The third books in the 911 Series does not disappoint Karen Kingsbury fan's. While it took me a little while to catch up to who everyone was in the third book it was indeed another excellant book by this author. True Christian Fiction.
This was my first Karen Kingsbury book. It started out very slow and I wasn't sure I wanted to continue but I did. When the book got going I found I couldn't put it down. It was suspenseful and a good wholesome read. I wanted to kick some sense into the hero of the book at times but he did end up doing the right thing. I would recommend the book to anyone who loves Christian reading. Good book. You will love Bo, the dog. Actually, he was the real hero.
I enjoy karen kingsbury writing.
This is an excellent book and the questions at the end of the book help the reader makes it possible to take lessons from the story. It is all about grief and loss and the hero's struggles to work through his grief and eventually comes out of it to find his true love.
This is a great book that takes place after 9/11. I love the way Karen Kingsbury can give you a biblical lesson with her characters AND give you a great story line!!
Christian Fiction regarding a young man who lost his father in the 9/11 tragedy and how it affected his life. Good suspense involving California mountain fires.
This was a great book following in the series I love the way she tells the stories .
This is book three of the 9/11 series. Alex is the Son of a fireman who was killed in the one of the towers. He became a police officer and has a K9 as a partner. This is about Alex, his struggles on moving forward without his Father and wanting to put away the bad guys to make his Father proud. He has friends, some of who lost loved ones also that day, who try to help him deal with what happen. A good story but it was so detailed it became frustrating to read. Also the ending was predictable so that was a let down. I am still giving it three stars because of the open and honest look at someone loss and how they deal with . Some days are better than others.
Wow. This book really touches your heart. It's very easy reading, and you just get pulled into the characters lives!!
3rd in 9/11 series! Great book! I couldn't put it down, just like all of Kingsbury's books!
Well written not as good as the first two in the series but really makes you look at 9/11 in a different light
The 9/11 series by Karen Kingsbury is an excellent treatment of a traumatic event in our nation's history. I enjoyed both books 1 & 2 in the series. The characters introduced were carried over to Every Now & Then. As usual, Kingsbury grabs you and has you pulled in from the beginning. The entire series really helped me understand more fully the extent of damage from the devastation of 9/11. Every Now & Then in particular reminded me that there are many people out there who still carry battle scars from that day's events, and that they always will. Kingsbury's books always resonant with hope and healing, though, and the promise of better things to come. I highly recommend this book.
This was a great book. It has a little more action than most of Kingsbury's books. This book can be read as a stand alone even though it is the third book in th 9/11 series.
This is a great book. One of Karen Kingsbury's finest. I loved the book as well as most all of the Kingsbury collection. This series of the 9/11 tragedy makes you stop and realize all that was lost and families that will never be the same. God Bless them all.
She has another winner with this one!
Excellent book! Love the characters and suspense.
