Continuing with this Yearbook 2009, AQUALOG is reviving the great tradition of aquarium and terrarium yearbooks, published between 1908 and 1954 by the Gustav Wenzel publishing company in Germany. These yearbooks are now highly prized by collectors.
In 1950, the editor Walter Senfft, died by a tragic traffic accident. He proved to be irreplaceable and so the Gustav Wenzel publishing company gave up all activities for the aquarium and terrarium hobbyists. Due to Aqualogs excellent connections to importers, exporters and wholesalers worldwide, they are able to present the absolute highlights of the previous year.
