REMINDER:  The RAOK forum is open to the public, not just to PBS members.  To protect your privacy, the 3 monthly recurring threads are intended to be limited to just what their titles say - Wishes, RAOK offers, and Thanks for wishes granted.  In other words, the posts in these 3 threads should be originating messages only.  Responses to, or chat about, those posts should be by private PMs.  Chatting is welcome in the Share and Care forum, which is limited to PBS members, and where card showers and prayer chains are available for anyone who asks for support.  To protect your privacy, please do not post your addresses in these threads - we prefer that you ask people to PM for your address.  Thanks!
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Welcome to the Wishes thread, where we post our wishes - maybe things we collect, something we can no longer find in our area, things we have always wanted, etc, etc. No wish is too unusual (though common sense is appreciated!); you never know what will turn up.

We must all abide by these PBS rules :
You may not wish for money or money-like items such as gift cards, or for monetary donations for any charities.  You may ask for things you collect for charities, such as cancelled stamps, pop can tabs, etc., but you may not solicit funding. This includes donations for GoFundMe and other fund-raising events.
No buying or selling or advertising. No spam posts.
No wishing for credits.  Credits are bought, sold and loaned only in the Book Bazaar forum, or you may use the PBS Kiosk to purchase them.
Do NOT ask for books, since books are swapped on the site and book deals are made in the Book Bazaar. Sorry, but you may not ask for free books of any kind. (Unpostable books are given away in the damaged book thread of the Bazaar and sometimes in the RAOK thread.  There is also a Damaged/Unpostable Virtual Box in the Games forum.  New participants are welcome!)

Our own RAOK rules:
Please do not offer payment for the things you are sent, including postage. RAOKs are given freely, asking nothing in return except a thank you. You could pay it forward by granting a wish yourself.
Please limit your wishes to no more than 10. Lists could get very long. You can always edit as you go along.
Unlike many other forums, we ask that you do NOT reply within the threads. We do everything by PMs between members. This keeps the threads clutter-free and easy to use. When you come to this ***Wishes*** thread, you see wishes. In the ***RAOK*** thread, it's all about things we are giving away - simple and easy. And to protect your privacy, please do not post your address in the thread - it's all done via PM.
Please check in and answer your PMs. It's frustrating when people want to grant your wishes and don't hear from you!
PLEASE say THANK YOU to the person who grants your wish.  You may use our monthly ***Thank You*** thread, or you may acknowledge what you have received via a personal PM to the member(s) who granted your wishes. This is very important if you wish to continue to receive things from others.

Tips:
Check the RAOK thread before you post wishes -- the thing you want may already be there for the asking!  If you see a wish you can grant, just PM the poster for their address.
And please remember, if one of the moderators contacts you about a posting, then we are only trying to keep the forum running smoothly and according to PBS rules. If you are asked to change, move, or delete your post, please do so. Most of you know that the PBS team does get involved to edit posts, and accounts do get suspended, if rules are broken. We hate to see that happen to our fellow RAOKers!

If you have questions, feel free to contact me.  I wish that your wish(es) will be granted!

Early August Joy to all! Prayers always for health and peace to each of you friends and your families. Prayers for a kindly united world and permanent end to Covid, too.

Thank you all for your continuing prayers for mycomplete and permanent recovery from feet issues. Your extra care means so much to me. Grace of God, day by day, I continue to recover. One day at a time always in faith.

Anyone headed to the Dollar Tree?

Dad enjoys Kappa Large Print Crossword Puzzles. He only likes the smaller/regular size crossword puzzle books. The only crossword books he currently has are #263 with a purple and blue cover and #265 with a green and pink cover, Any others would be a wonderful surprise for him and bring me joy as well.

We both like Super Play Pad Jumbos at the Dollar Tree. They look like: Super PlayPad Activity Books, 224 Pages | Dollar TreeSuper PlayPad Activity Books, 224 Pages | Dollar Tree

Dad and I God willing are planning a special Disneyland trip next year. The Dollar Tree used to sell Bendon Publishing Company Disney Clubhouse Word Search Books. These were closer to 10X12 in size. Disney Mickey - Activity Book Word Search | eBay There was also a similar Minnie Mouse book. We are not interested in any princess or pixar versions of this item just Mickey and Minnie.

I could also use blank birthday cards.

I do get Guideposts Magazine. Any older issues from years past are always wonderful to read and I thank several of you for sending them to me in the past.

Thanks so much. As always I do respectfully request anything sent to me comes from a no smoking home. God Bless You and Sweet Dreams later tonight, too.

Happy August to all. This is my birthday month (Aug. 20th) and I'll be 68. How time flies.

My wishes this month would be: Some pretty smaller size stationary with matching envelopes. Lined or unlined, doesn't matter. I like the regular size pretty stationary but it makes the envelope heavy if I use more than 2 pages to write a letter and I like to write long letters. So the stationary that's about 5x7 works best for me. With the price of stamps going up it's hard having to add more postage to an envelope because of the weight of my letter.

I could always use more non glittery stickers in more adult like theme. Things like seasonal, flowers, angels, pretty sayings (inspirational), things like that. Prefer clear background if at all possible.

Most of you know what I like by now since I've been here for years, so any birthday surprises would be wonderful. This will be the 1st birthday since losing Bob that I feel I really want to do something special for my birthday. Haven't a clue what that's going to be just yet, but getting things from my friends here will make me feel so much better with being alone on my birthday.

Thanks to anyone that can grant my wishes this month.

If anyone has any Jibbitz (those things you stick in your crocs) my nieces and nephews are collecting them.  If anyone has any they don't want anymore we would appreciate them. Thanks!

My birthday is August 23rd.  I would love any happy mail.  I would also appreciate prayers.  I lost my identical twin and our birthday is really hard for me.  Thank you!

Hello my fellow bibliophiles!

I am looking for a couple of coupons that came out this week...

Jersey Mike's ~~~ came in the ValuPack mailing, the monthly envelope of coupons & offers from local businesses.
Osteo BiFlex ~~~ came in the coupon pages of the junk mail flyers.

Also looking for some scrap fabric with a tiny print, like you might use to make Barbie doll clothes.  3"x 3" or larger pieces, preferably not real girlie.

Here are my wishes:

1. I'm looking for the Collector Glass that is supposed to be out soon in a adult Mcdonald's meal--I want the Coca Cola one or the one with Hello Kitty and Peanuts together.

2. A plastic rain gauge in any size or color

3. A mini suction cup thermometer that I can put on a window to read.

4. Coupons-any you have extra of or ones you print off the Internet and can't use.

Thanks. Post your unique wishes and who knows I might be able to help you out. :)

one of my oddest requests yet~~ I would greatly appreciate (6)  'pot of gold' stickers (usually with St. Patty's day) or even if you have a "pot of gold at the end of a rainbow".   stickers can be any size or color.   I'm doing special cards for family and I only need 6 so I'm tossing this out to all you in hopes that someone might have a few to gift for my crafting.   Thanks for looking ~~
