Good read for adult and children. The second book in a series about a child lawyer. Very likeable.
REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Enjoyed by my 9 year old and myself, I was a little worried that the topic might be too intense (child abduction, for a while you think she might be dead) but he was not bothered by it and there is a happy ending. Great way for kids to learn about the legal system while having fun. Good balance of independent teen hero and knowing when to ask for help.
A great read for any adolescent child (perhaps ages 8 to 15) but an adult will enjoy it as well.
Don't do as I did. I read the third Theodore Boone Book before reading this one (this is the second Theodore Boone Book).
Read them in sequence.

Excellent series...
This is a great story. It tells a story of hard work that pays off in the end and where a kid becomes the hero.
This is a great book for all ages.Suddenly, April is MISSING! She VANISHED, overnight! She's thirteen years old, and disfunctional does not begin to describe her family. This night, she was HOME, and she was alone!. Next moprning she was GONE! She was Theo's VERY GOOD friend. Not his 'grlfriend', in the romantic sense, but his FRIEND. And Theo was HER friend, in the same sense. This is actually the SECOND in the series of books about Theodore Boone, Kid Lawyer. It takes us on a midnight ride to a College town where a really bad rock band is playing, loudly, for a Sorority party. How'd we get there? Theo knows! He and Ike (Theo's Uncle) track her down and GO THERE to rescue her. From whom? READ THE BOOK! There is less in my review than for Kid Lawyer, but I did more explanitory stuff there. This is a real PAGE TURNER, too! The town comes to life and the characters come to life, and the story is believable!
Great book for teenagers!
