Definitely rated PG. Wonderfully descriptive life of the wife of David. It gives a unique perspective on her life as well as his. Wonderful!
I loved this book. It was great!
This is a wonderful series about various women of the Bible. These are great stories that make the lives of these women become very real to the reader. The women have lives and feelings that make the reader identify with the character. I enjoyed these books immensely. They are very readable and lovely stories. I wish Ms. Henderson had written more about other characters of the Bible.
I really loved reading this book. I've read 1st and 2nd Samuel in the Bible many times, and even tho I know this story was fiction, so much matched the Bible perfectly. It helped me realize however that David could have been a regular guy with faults like everyone else instead of the perfect King and man of God that I had decided he was. A beautifully written love story! I would recommend it to any and everyone.
