This is a very interesting book on how the three major religions have one figure in common. I was unaware of this and I really enjoyed learning about it. In these days and times when the religions seem at odds with each other, this is a reminder that we do have something in common besides God. We all believe in Abraham.

He not only tells the story of Abraham from what has been written in scripture but also by taking the reader on a journey through the world's most volatile region. He is a great writer and leaves the reader with an uplifting vision of unity that redefines what we think about our world situation, our future and ourselves. Get out your dictionary. Feiler's vocabulary is amazing.

This book is Bruce Feilers best. With no archaeological evidence whatsoever to explore, he embarks on his journey to learn about Abraham by interviewing members of various faiths, and finds himself enmeshed in a bewildering array of legends and claims.

This is an excellent read and had me "thinking outside the box."
Mr. Feiler's research is so detailed and helped me understand the passion the 3 faiths have towards the Patriarch, Abraham.
