Historical Erotic Romance from Samhain Publishing. Lady Colleen McGregor saves the life of an unknown, wealthy man, laying at the side of the road, drunk. If she doesn't help him, he'll die in the winter storm. She takes him home and cares for him. Colleen is a spinster who never planned on getting married. She and Sebastian are found in a compromising position, and they reluctantly marry to save her reputation. Colleen and Sebastion come to care for one another, while someone is planning on ending their lives. This is a very sweet, romantic story. Enjoyed it alot.

I am a nut over the "English Ton" era and this book did not disappoint. While the sex scenes weren't many-they were still hot and heavy and it even had a mystery entwined with it and I did not guess who the murderer was until almost the end of the book and even then it was between two of the characters. You can't help but sigh happily for Sebastian & Colleen. It is going on my keeper shelf-the next book in the series is Lessons in Seduction about her sister in law Cicely.

Absolutely awesome read. Well developed characters (sub-plot a little weak) who interact believably and well the dialougue is witty and flows very well. There are a few anachronisms on usuage in language, "okay" for one, but not too distracting.

This was a sweet historical romance, nothing new or original, but once I got through the first chapter, very readable. The "mystery" part of the story was weak. As far as erotica goes, this was not that much (if at all) more explicit than most historical romances on the market. I would read another by this author.
