Victor's story is as enjoyable as all the other Argeneau clan. Elvi's misconceptions as a new vamp are humorous tinged with sadness. Each story can stand alone, but I strongly recommend reading them in order to understand the family dynamics.

I was disappointed with this book. I found that the hero and heroine sometimes behaved out of established character and the ending felt rushed. One particular plotline that the leads were worried about throughout the entire book suddenly became a non-issue in one sentence and the main drama also became a non-issue with simply a shrug. It seems as if the author wanted everyone to have a happy ending and the last chapter wrapped everything up nice and neat with a pretty bow on top. This is the second time I've been disappointed with a book in the Argeneau series based on uncharacteristic and/or stupid decisions made by the leads.

So far this book is one of my favorites. Right after Single White Female. It is so funny. That is what I really like about her books. There is so much humor in them. Some of the stuff is the same but somehow she comes up with such different humor in all of them.

I've read a couple of Lynsay Sands books and I find them to be quick easy reads. She has great charactors and story lines. This one I found myself laughing out loud in some places. The Hero and Heroine were very likeable and the secondary charactors were great.

by accident? Yes indeed. How did that happen, worth reading the book to find out. More fun than I expected. That does not mean the immortals are not intense but the Accidental Vamp is cute, sexy and a great read.

Loved this book! It's the 7th in the Argeneau Series and the best one yet. They seem to just get better and better. This is Victor and Elvi's story. Such a cute premise of a vampire (Elvi) putting an ad in the local "wanted items" section for a vampire companion. Also interesting how Elvi became an "Accidental Vampire". I don't know how Lynsay Sands keeps coming up with different ways to being turned! Gave it 5 stars.
I read this book first and didn't know it was part of a series. I liked that the author had a new "take" where vampires come from and how they are not the evil dead. I just recently finished books 1, 2, and 3. It seems that you do not have to read them in a certain order to understand what is going on and each book is good enough to stand on it's own, but you will get a spoiler on who gets married.... and might ruin the ending of previous books so I would suggest starting them in order. I actually think the author is funny, and has a easy flowing writing style that makes for a fun, quick read. I think so far book 3 is my fav!

This was a fun read as it addressed a lot of the stereotypes that Hollywood has created about Vampires. I found this to be a laugh out loud book and as always enjoyed Ms. Sands writing style, she can really make the characters real! Highly recommend. As with all he books they are better if you read the series in order but enough info is given that this can also be a stand a lone.

I read this book about a month ago (in two days), and as always I love Lynsay Sands books. They have the right amount of paranormal, mixed with humor and most importantly a smooth flowing writing style that makes it hard to put the book down. I recommend anyone who is a fan of paranormal romance to read this book!

I loved this books. All of the books in this series have been great but this one is by far is the best. Elvi(short for Elvira,not actually her name)was bitten by a vampire and now spends her days in a coffin, avoiding garlic, and pulling the tight black dresses, that she thinks she has to wear, into place. One of her friends puts a personal ad in the paper to get her a vamp boyfriend and as you can expect it goes outragously down hill from there. This book was so funny that I caught myself laughing out loud several times. I could just picture some of the well meaning town folk(I also come from a small town)making the kind of well meant remarks that Elvi had to put up with. Was unable to put it down until I reached the end. Luckily, I have the next two in the series so I can continue on in the Argeneau world for a few more days.

This was the first book I read by Lynsay Sands and I'm hooked! I love the Argeneau series. An ad in the romance column finds a naive vampire in a world of trouble. Her friends thought they were helping her but they have actually opened her up to a world of vampire laws and rules that she had no idea of. This is a great read.

Another great Argeneau book. This time we get to meet Victor, Lucien's brother. For me, this was the most humorous of the Argeneau books.
I like this series because you really don't have to read the others to understand what is going on. Each has a different main character and characters we have met just pop in and out.

Eh, I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but I can't get into Lynsay Sands vampire books.

Lynsay Sands always keeps it interesting! This is one of the best books that I have ever read. It is funny and the cast of characters and their antics are hilarious! I just couldn't put it down. Lynsay Sands gives a new outlook on "Vampires" and all the things they can or cant do.....it is so funny! This is a MUST read!

I enjoyed this book except the ending seemed hurried, it wasnt worked up to just POOF it's here. Not a common story line to place a singles want ad for a vampire and the way she had those fellas being dragged all over town for various reasons I was lol.

Fabulous book. I'm a big fan of this series and you can read it in order but definitely don't need to as each book stands on its own.
This book is such a fun read. Elvi is accidentally turned into a vampire, and she knows nothing about how to be one. Her best friend sees her through the beginning of her turning, then Elvi whole town helps her and protects. Victor is sent to investigate and ends up teaching her how to "live" as a vampire. Some very funny writing. and some touching writing about an older woman who becomes a vampire, and in the process finds love.

As with all of the Argeneau Vampires series, this book is a 5/5- Lynsay Sands is a phenomenal author. Her vampires are not the same trite vampires that are taking over every bookshelf in America- she spins a completely new angle. She's also hilarious! There's been many times I've been reading her books on break at work and busted out laughing and couldn't even try to explain myself... GIve them a shot!

I like this book because it is different from what you would aspect. I think it is a good read and very funny.
I have read quite a few by Lynsay Sands and I like her work. This series puts a different spin on how vampires are perceived. Not only are they accepted but a whole town embraced their resident vamp. I got several laughs from this book. My daughter and I both thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

I love this series. I have yet to be bored with the Argeneau Family. This is a neat little twist to vampires and how they could survive in our everyday world. Of course this makes for a good romance between mortals and immortals.

I must admit that I was a bit disappointed in this one. I just felt that it pushed the ridiculous to the very extreme. I mean I can understand how she accidentally became a vampire, but that her whole little town would basically protect her and use her at the same time? Come on. Something was just missing in this one, and I didn't find it near as enjoyable as I have the others I read.

It's very much the same as all the other Argeneau Vampire books. Vampire meets girl, vampire gets into danger, and danger turns out to be solved in two pages.

easy fast paced story regarding one of the members of the Argeneau family that will make you laugh. Victor's story
out of all the argeneau vampires, this one is by far the weakest. In both character dynamics and in plot. The series is better off without it so my advice would be to skip it altogether. This is definitely a library read (if you absolutely MUST read it) and not worth your credits OR money.

I am not sure if I was supposed to be able to buy this book yet but I went to a small shop in my hometown and there it was. I snatched it up and burned through it in a matter of hours. It was a great read, and kept up with the quality of the other books in the series. Victor is another Argeneau man from the other side of the family tree. I don't know how I feel about these books. I like reading about Margurite's own children and can't wait to read about her!
