Another riveting read from Scottoline! Loved the Italian humor, friendship and loyalty explored here. Great tale with twists and turns. Couldn't put it down!

I felt it was alittle drawn out.

Mary finally made partner in her firm and took it upon herself to solve a murder to help a innocent client! It started when a 13 year old young lady hired the firm to find her sister's killer saying the convicted man was not guilty. This story was not credible, and Mary's family consisting of mom and pop, mom and pop, to be, fiancé, and the four Tonys was just too much! They all got in the way of the storyline, making a mockery of it. Not one of this authors best!

I started this book full of interest, since I've read many of her other books & I've enjoyed them (except for the non-fiction stuff; didn't like those at all). This one kept my interest until a little over 1/2 way thru. After that, until the end, there was too much 'fluff' (as I call it); tangents not really making the story better, just filling the pages with words.
