Considering I'm a huge fan of Anne McCaffrey, I've been trying to get all of her books. After reading almost all of the Dragonrider series, I have started on the Acorna series. This book is extremely well written and really captures the attention of the reader. It starts you from the time Acorna arrives on her "home/native" planet. It includes several new characters and catches your interest in a few of them. I really recommend this book to those who like Anne McCaffrey or books involving space. Well worth the read!!!!!

While I truly enjoyed the first book of this series, and the second one was okay; I struggled through this book. The other books had so many likable characters this one had few. Also, the antagonist should never been that stupid.

As always, another "extra good read" by McCaffrey. The Unicorn Girl is on another adventure!

Very nice read that mixes science-fiction and fantasy. Unicorns are real! and they travel in space...with humans you never know. McCaffery never disappoints and this is a great 7 out of 10. I needed the shelf space!

My daughter and I read this when she was in her teens. She loved the character who's both sweet and spunky.I recommend Anne Mc Caferty for any young reader who has progressed past R. H. Stein. For an adult it is a nice well written light read.

McCaffrey does it again. A good light read. Acorna, the Unicorn Girl is no longer alone in the world; she has family! But of course not all is sweetness and light.

From back cover: Filled with adventure and wonder, Acorna's People continues the enthralling saga of Acorna, the beautiful, brave, and kindhearted creature known as the Unicorn Girl. -- "Welcome Home, Linyaari Child!" -- With the help of her "uncles" and the thousands of humans who love and admire her, Acorna has found her true people, the peaceful, telepathic Linyaari. But Acorna still has much to do before she can enjoy her new home. The legendary resting place of the lost Linyaari ancestors has yet to be found. And with the help of a rogue spacetrader and his feline sidekick, Acorna must strive to right an unspeakable wrong and defeat an enemy even crueler than the Khleevi. Along the way, she will at last uncover the Universe's most carefully guarded secret -- the true nature of the ancient link between the Linyaari and the space-faring humans she has also come to think of as her "people."
