This book had the great ideas I needed for practicing spelling words when I had run dry! So many "ideas" are really just the same old thing. I wasn't crazy about the format since it had multiple activities on each reproducible page intended for a weekly spelling list. I like to pick and choose each week what I use for my students. This book's counterpart Activities for Any Literature Unit was much more teacher-friendly in that way, but there are many ideas I will definitely be incorporating intp our word-studies this year. I would recommend this book to any elementary or home-school teacher.
This book has great games and ideas to promote spelling words. I think it is geared for grades 2-6.
