OK, so I am as devoted to the Amanda Pepper books as she is to boyfriend C.K. Mackenzie and the students in her Philly Prep English classes. This term student Adam Evans is worrying her big time; he seems an accident waiting to happen. It comes in the form of Adam being accused of murdering a young woman. Amanda is sure he is innocent. She is also sure he is in mortal danger. Can she find him before the real killer does?

This is a great "whodunit" with real motives and enough clues to allow a skillful reader of mysteries to make some intelligent guesses, with a slew of suspects.
