What a wonderful, silly book! Dave Pilkey is an inspirational children's author, who struggled in school, spending a great deal of time in the hallway for disrupting his class. He never received any encouragement until he went to college and wrote his first book.
Super Diaper Baby is in comic book style with some great 'flip-o-matic" pages, that you flip quickly and get that live action cartoon effect. The story is very amusing, with some hitting (newborn hits doctor back after being given the slap of life!) and an e-vil arch rival, who turns himself into, well, into something found in a baby's dirty diaper, so consider yourself warned! (The kids will love it....)

The Barnes & Noble Review
George Beard and Harold Hutchins, the kids who invented the sartorially challenged superhero known as Captain Underpants, are back again with another action-packed adventure. The boys are in trouble again, and this time, mean old Principal Krupp's punishment is a 100-page essay on good citizenship. To make matters worse, Krupp has forbidden the boys to write about their favorite topic -- Captain Underpants -- so the boys decide to create a new hero instead.
In the boys' latest adventure story, the evil villain Deputy Dangerous

It's sort of sad that this kind of book is passed off as reading at a 4th grade level.

Really cute comic drawings inside. Very funny. Enjoyable for kids and pre-teens. The artist may also enjoy :)
