This is a story of love, truth, and courage, written by a Christian wife and mother who looked like she had a dream marriage to people on the outside. She knew in her heart that something was wrong, but she didn't know what it was or how to fix it. This is the story of how she came to understand her husband's sex addiction. More than that, it is the story of how God came near and comforted a broken-hearted woman and her children as He also began to heal her husband. If you are married to a man who is using pornography, having multiple affairs, or visiting prostitutes, you will find comfort in this book, encouragement, strength, and practical help to know what to do next. This book was my lifeline for quite a long time. There is hope for you, and this is the best book I know of for women in this confusing place.

This book is about an extreme case of pornography/sexual addiction, and its affects on the author's family. The author's husband was so enslaved by porn and prostitutes, he could no longer function. He lied compulsively and repeatedly, abused his family, went nearly bankrupt financially, totally bankrupt morally, and almost completely insane. The author herself enabled him through her denial for many years.
This is an inspirational story about the author's struggles to face up to the truth about her husband, set appropriate boundaries to protect herself and her children, begin to heal, and slowly try to rebuild her marriage. The insanity and pain of living with an addict is carefully portrayed. It is written from a distinctly Christian perspective.
