This is one of the absolute best Agatha Christie murder mysteries. Defies solving it... that takes the fantastic Hercule Poirot!

This book is very good. I could not put it down. Of course, I can never figure out who the murderer is, but this one is very well written with a lot of characters. Very good read - esp on a rainy day!

Agatha Christie is an old favorite of mine. I love her books and this was no disappointment

Inheritance plays the major role in this when the patriarch dies suddenly. Poirot does it again in this tale in which everyone is suspect of a possible murder, a brutal murder, and a near murder. Auntie will keep you guessing until the final chapters, although the finale, as with most Poirot novels, may leave you less than satisfied
