My major requirement in a romance book is that the book has to have a âdangerousâ male in it, one that is willing to do whatever it takes to get his woman, his way, etc. This book definitely meets that requirement. It sizzles and is on my keeper shelf.

Good story except that I wish the heroine would be a little bit more mature in her behavior instead of constantly being ruled by self-doubt about the intentions of the hero. Still a good quick read.
Loved it and will read it again and again. Loved the story. Loved the characters. Loved the ending. I've been in love with cowboys since I was a child and this book didn't disappoint. Linda Howard has the best men in her books, and at my age, you take what you can get. Therefore, I read every Linda Howard book I can get my hands on. If you like strong women and hunky men, you'll love this one.
A little dated with references to Viet Nam, but still a strong Howard book.
A good early story by Linda Howard you're sure to enjoy.

LINDA HOWARD IS A VERY GOOD WRITER THIS BOOK IS REALLY GOOD GOT SOME PRETTY FUNNY PARTS IN IT.
