I am so enjoying this series! I'm well aware that Agatha Raisin is clearly a character that one either loves or hates, but I have found myself in the former group, and am thrilled to have a new series to enjoy! A true British cozy, I enjoyed every word of this book. It is intelligent and fun reading! Not too heavy but certainly not too fluffy. Agatha Raisin is a flawed character, and set in her ways. She is outspoken and yet tenderhearted, still longing for romance in her life. There is a hysterical scene in this one that had me laughing loudly while my husband next to me in bed was trying to sleep. It is worth the price of the book, by far! This second book was far more skillfully edited than the first, and I liked this one even better than the first, The Quiche of Death. I am so happy to have many books ahead of me in this series, as I'm quite fond of the crusty Agatha!

#2 in the series. I love Agatha Raisin. This is a no holds barred woman that says what she thinks and lets the pieces fall where they may. Once again Agatha has found a murder where no one else sees one. She is still after James Lacey and Bill Wong is still a step behind. The new Carsley vet is found dead in a stable, but there seems to be too many women that wanted to see him gone so where do you begin. It is up to Agatha and her cats to save the day. **Amazon Review

When a philandering, not-so-good-with-animals vet winds up dead in a stable followed by one of his patients, Agatha starts investigating the mysterious deaths.

I really like this series. Has different characters that seem more "real" and the chemistry works. Highly recommend. These books are like chips, you can't read just one!
