I have read a number of Suzanne's books. I would consider myself neutral to her in general...in other words, I'm not a Suzanne zealot but I don't dislike her. I ordered this book after seeing her on Oprah participating in the hormone discussion with Dr. Christiane Northurp and others. I have to say that every other line in this book came across to me as a marketing ploy to plug bioidentical hormones. Of course I expected there to be alot of coverage on it but there was absolutely no other content than Suzanne plugging the bioidenticals. I was really disappointed in this book.

Very informative book on health and hormones. Not only is it important to be "homonaly balanced" but also to provide your body with the best possible food and the purest environment. Susanne Somers does a great job explaining how all things we expose our bodies to influence our health and welfare. She explains how bioidentical hormones are the key to healthy hormone replacement as well as how everything you put in your body works with or against your health.

As always, Suzanne has done her research. Good book for aging boomers who want to age more gracefully.

I saw a bioidentical hormone doctor after reading this and I'd love to try it, but it's a little expensive and not covered by insurance. Even if you don't try bios, the book is a great informational and reference book.

I've stayed away from Suzanne Somer's books because I remember her too well as Crissy Snow. However, I've recently started going to an anti-aging clinic and this book was recommended by my doctor. I found it extremely enlightening. It definitely reinforces what my doctor says (we don't have health care in this country; what we have is disease management.) Since I'm not happy with what I see in main stream medicine and since I don't wish to fall apart at the accepted rate of decay, I will be demanding my future doctors be familiar with the research presented here.
