This was a very interesting story especially pulling in the details on how history of the community helped in the 'dig'. I especially liked the twist at the very end that
neatly wrapped up the 'why' of the mystery of the historical families.
WARNING do not read this as your first Lindsay Chamberlain novel -- you need the background from other novels to understand her since she starts out with amnesia.

very strong series about a forensic anthropologist that is an amateur sleuth. Author goes into deepth on Lindsay's experience on a dig on an old house. Very interesting side story. You always get educated in her books! Enjoy.
