The novel revolves around a young financial analyst, who moves to Alaska for a fresh start after her divorce,---and inadvertently uncovers a scam.
The author, a former newspaper reporter in Sitka, writes with love for the Alaskan landscape and its people, as well as a wide range of issues....natives vs whites, preservationists vs developers, and folk history vs folk art. This mystery is a page turner!
