Ah, a childhood favorite. I am sending out the paperback version and keeping my hardcover antique one! Some little girl should enjoy this book!

The edition I read was actually an online version with the same illustrations and everything. It is a rather fun book, and is certainly far deeper than the "children's book" that it is depicted to be on its surface. I wouldn't say I loved it, but it was certainly worth finally reading the book behind a story I have heard so much about. The language twists alone made it well worth it, as there is definitely a lot of creativity there.

This book was insane. The adventures she had and the creatures she met...It all sounded like what a bad acid trip would be like.

I'm honestly not sure I enjoyed it. This may require a re-read in the future.

I just can't with this book. I picked it up because it looked like a fun twist but just... The writing is horrible, Alice is portrayed as an absolute moron, it's repetitive, and the same scene just drags on and on and on forever without anything really happening. I've read many versions of Alice in Wonderland and never had such trouble trying to read one. I wouldn't recommend this version to anyone honestly and I'm very disappointed.

An excellent adventure into a fantastical dreamscape, full of queer creatures and events. A very good read, for children and adults alike.

With the recent resurgence of the popularity of 'Alice in Wonderland' due to Tim Burton's new film, Collins Design has cranked out what is probably the most amazing version of the first story, 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland', ever published. While the story itself, a flawless example of the genre of literary nonsense, has transcended time and place to fix itself as a classic story, the equal star in this edition is the bizarre, dark, and beautiful artwork by renowned artist Camille Rose Garcia. Filling the dust-jacket and sturdy pages with near-disturbing portrayals of already disturbed characters, the fantasmagorical illustrations of this edition help bring to life the warped story of a young girl falling down a tricked-out rabbit hole into a land of dreams, and her encounters with the odd, over-the-top, and deranged inhabitants of that Wonderland. A true masterwork of a story with amazing illustrations!

This book will be beloved by all! When adventurous Alice happens to run down a rabbit hole following a talking rabbit, she is brought into a world where there are disappearing cats, an angry queen, and a mad hatter! Is it all a dream, or could it be real? This book is cherished by me and I will always love it!

Once again, Nancy Wiley has beautifully illustrated another children's classic by photographing her posed unique, handmade dolls. This time Alice in Wonderland...do we dare hope she will do Through the Looking-glass next?

This is an abridged copy and it's a poorly done abridgement in my opinion.
