Plot Summary: This book is a short m/m paranormal erotica. Ray, a human man falls in love with another man, Lou, who is Lycan: a wolf shifter. Primarily a falling in lust/ love story, the central plot focuses on Lou and Ray falling in love and Ray's allergy to Lou's HUMAN form. (note: there is NO sex in shifted form in this book.)
Main Characters: Lou and Ray. Neither man is particularly alpha or effeminate. Both are likable, funny at times, romantic, and very sexual.
Best About This Book: some funny moments, likable characters, steamy sex scenes.
Worst About This Book: A really interesting subplot promising more non-sexual action and intrigue begins towards the end of the book and is left unresolved.
Summary: Definitely worth a credit if you enjoy m/m erotica: sex is hot. Light story that had the potential to become more substantial but didn't. Maybe there will be a sequel?

What can I say about "Allergies"? All in all it is a decent book. Not the greatest, but decent. In my opinion the book lacks a sense of flow during intense moments. For instance, when Ray sees Lou shift in front of him, and when Ray and Lou's mother talk for the first time. Each moment feels contrived, as if the author has not yet figured out how to execute anger from his mind to pen and paper. However, the author does nail intimacy very well. This is the first time I have read a book by this author and I will try another.
