This is a thoughtfully written novel about young women who find that they are gay. Interesting and entertaining.

True, this is not a classic Rita Brown book. As a lesbian, I was thrown off on a little threesome scene in the middle, but I did think that it brought something different to the story line. Sometimes they can get so predictable - girl meets girl, they get busy, fight and make up and live happily ever after. This is not that book. I ended up liking the book, waded through the parts I didn't like and loved the ending. Not a bad book to read to pass time.

If you are a fan of Rita Mae Brown's non-Mrs. Murphy work, this one will not disappoint. Her irreverent approach to life is quite funny, and touching as well. Please be advised that the characters are quite colorful, and form non-traditional partnerships. This is not as innocent as her Mrs. Murphy series, but a very good read, none-the-less.
