Good book with a female alpha. Ana is trying to protect her pack after losing members to poisoning. Connor returns to her after being away for 50 years. Good characters and strong storyline.
I really enjoyed this book and read it in one day. The story was interesting from page ONE! In fact, the main characters are in it from page one...ok maybe TWO. I enjoyed the storyline of Ana and her pack and liked her as a main character. They live in a world where they have been "outed" as supernaturals and live in a town where when something "bad" happens, their ranch is the first place the sheriff goes to for questioning.
There are many characters brought in that I can see this leading to a bigger series and I look forward to it.

Very good book! I couldn't put it down. Ana is trying to run her pack after all the males and pregnant females die because someone poisioned them. The last time Connor saw Ana was 50 years ago. He had no choice but to leave her, but now he is back and he will not leave his "mate". It is a good thing he has come back, because Ana is not only trying to find out who poisioned her pack, but she is having trouble with a neighbor who has decided Ana will be with him if she likes it or not.
