Knowing the thoughts and tribulations of a man's mind during the phases of love and heart break, I must say this novel captures it all.
If you come out of this book with a troubled mind, know that the writer has succeeded in stirring some deep seated emotions in you. A great read.

This was a different book, but I could relate to it. It was sad, but honest. It was even funny at times, the old people. I am off to find another one of Brookner's books.
