This is a beautiful story. Some parts are scary with the boys missing in the wildernes, and other parts made me cry. This book is on my keeper shelf because it's full of all kinds of emotions and as the reader, I felt every one of them.

Two young boys run away to try to force their divorced parents to get back together. Will it work? Anderson is a creditable story teller and an excellent writer.

Lovely romance with all the right ingredients. Former couple reunited by their two lively and conniving children. Catherine Anderson writes very heart warming books. I usually cry during each of her books and look forward to reading everything she has written.

Tucker and Ellie Grant were devastated when their oldest son was killed in an accident. Their grief eventually led to their divorce. Now three years later, Ellie has a new job and a new house, Tucker has a new girlfriend, and they are getting on with their lives. But the kids aren't buying it. Zach and Kody know that their parents still love each other, so they come up with a plan to get them back together. They'll run away into the Oregon Wilderness and stay there until their parents agree to get back together.

This was a great story. It kind of had a "Parent Trap" feel to it since both ex's bring their significant others with them to help search in the wilderness for the boys. This is an emotional story and also an adventure. I highly recommend this book. My rating: 5 Stars.

I ordered this book thinking that I hadn't read it and I normally love Catherine Anderson's books. Well, I had previously read it and even when I realized that.....I continued reading it! The characters in this book draw you in and make you feel their heartache and dispair. This book makes you feel the sadness of divorce, the loss of a child and the effect these events have on children. Great book.
