Cute and funny story about the ups and downs of dieting. Was a quick read.
Written like Bridget Jones' diary, this book is inspiring, funny, and extremely hard-to-put down! Follow Shauna as she begins this journey at 350 lbs, as a self-loathing hurting young lady with an eccentric mother, traveling 8,000 miles from her native Australia to England to Paris to Red Square, as she meets the man of her dreams, and ends up loving herself, being truly happy and inspiring her mother (and the reader) to do the same! Grab this book and pass it on to your favorite girlfriends or better yet, get them their own copies 'cause you're going to want to keep this one!

This book was pretty good. I didn't realize it was not fiction. It was hard at first for me to relate because I have never been large enough to loathe myself that much however I pushed through the beginning and was glad that everything worked out for the author. Some people never (ok most people never) reach that level of comfort with themselves. I applaud her effort and her transformation.

Although I liked the book, it was hard for me to relate to the author's struggles. However, I do commend her for her efforts. I would recommend the book for anyone who is struggling with weight loss. It can be inspiring.
