I enjoy most books that show character growth and the build up of a business or renovation of building. This one was particularly good on all three.

Gracie has just moved to town from a stressful job managing a hotel in France. As she walks the streets of this calm little Virginia town she finds an unkept Victorian home that is just begging to be turned into a bed & breakfast. Her goal to buy the house is thwarted by the laid back southern gentleman, who just happens to be a hunk, who manages the property. As the negotiations continue, romantic sparks fly and a great romantic story develops from there. This is a book that makes the reader smile and keeps you wanting to know what will happen next. I found it to be a fun, easy read with great characters.

This is the first book that I have read by Sherryl Woods, and I really enjoyed it! Gracie is looking for a more relaxed way of life and finds it in a small town called Seagull Point, Virginia. She meets Kevin and their romance blooms. This is a story about families, devotion and enjoying life.

I have never read Sheryl Woods before, but this book has got me looking for more! It is such a fun read...I really enjoyed learning about Gracie, the main character. At the start of the book you get a glimpse of the work-aholic Gracie, who works for a high-end hotel chain. She is unrelenting in her quest for detail and perfection - unlike her boss who only cares about "the bottom line." This boss then proceeds to push her to her limit and she abruptly quits. Thus begins Gracie's quest .....learning how to have a life.

I loved the playful craziness of Gracie's world. The characters were believable and charming - the setting was one that you could actually picture in your head, and the story was totally delightful.

If you love happy endings, and are looking for a book that will make you smile (even at the very end) you will love this book!!

This is a delightful contemporary romance between a workaholic woman and a laid back Southern gentleman. What makes it such a great read is the strength of its secondary characters. There's her former boss (is he really just interested in her business know how?), his extended family filled with needy relatives (irresponsible cousin, widowed cousin, elderly aunt, benignly neglected second cousin), and a host of small town gossips and well meaning meddlers. Add in the renovation of a Victorian home with a ghost and some family secrets and you've got a good story.
