I really love this tribute to American junk/kitsch/antiques. I find the text less interesting than the gorgeous pictures of acutal homes decorated with flea market finds, and the odd and wonderful things that people collect. The author is obviously very passionate about flea markets. Of her companion books, I have only seen Kitchen Junk, which I enjoyed, but not as much as American Junk.

I LOVE IT! I LOVE TO GO TO YARD SALES AND FLEA MARKETS, AND ENJOY THE INSIGHTS AND IDEAS THE BOOK HAS TO OFFER. DECORATING IDEAS AS WELL AS TIPS ON WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN YOU SHOP. IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO LIKES TO COLLECT UNIQUE, FUN, OR OLD ITEMS THIS IS THE BOOK FOR THEM!
