I'm not a huge mystery book person, mostly because it seems that many of them tell the same story with a slight twist. This is a very unique story line, well-written, intelligent, and it kept me interested. Here's a bit from another review:
From the author of a string of fine novels comes a very intelligent, turn-the-pages-as-fast-as-you-can thriller that pits a psychoanalyst against a brilliant - and deeply disturbed - villain. The premise: the villain, who calls himself Rumplestiltskin, has given Dr. Frederick Starks two weeks in which to guess his identity. If he can't guess it, Rumplestiltskin will begin killing off people close to Dr. Starks, and he'll keep killing, unless Starks kills himself.
I mean, that's one killer of a premise: find out who the bad guy is, or you'll be forced to kill yourself. And Rumplestiltskin doesn't exactly make it easy for the good doctor: a few tantalizing clues, little verses that could mean nothing, or anything, but that's it.

A mesmerizing thriller that gives a wicked new twist to the doctor-patient relationship!
Thriller - A psychoanalys must discover who is trying to ruin his life, finances, reputation. What past client has the power???
Lots of twists and turns. Very surprising!
A very exiting trip through the twists and turns of the analyst's attempt to solve the riddle presented to him. While dense in the way of long explainations. I would pause the reflect before continueing on.
Katzenbach does it again!
one of Katzenbach's best
A psychoanalyst's life if destroyed by someone, and he has fifteen days to figure it all out. Filled with action and suspense, this is a dark thriller. It's a great story of revenge!
First book read by this author. Couldn't put it down. A thriller for sure!
A fabulous book. This is a his best book so far.
Very hard to get interested in the beginning. I almost gave up on it,but it turned out to be hard to put down.
Story started slowly, but developed fast. A very good revenge novel.
